Now, it looks like those Nokia apps aren’t going to be the only exclusive apps on the phones. EA Games has announced that it will be bringing exclusive games to Nokia WP devices. The lineup will consist of titles from EA, Chillingo and Hasbro though it wasn’t specifically mentioned what they would be.</div>

It seems like Nokia’s way of winning the market share from other WP device manufacturers is by providing exclusive content and I think it’s a good plan. But Windows Phone users who don’t own Nokia devices will probably be upset if their favorite game doesn’t work on their phone just because it’s a different brand. As you all know by now, Sprint has been left out of the iPhone party over the past few years, due to AT&T’s exclusivity deal which only ended earlier this year. Verizon was the second carrier in the US to pick it up, and with the launch of the iPhone 4S, Sprint joined the party. And it looks like it only took a few hours to reach its milestone for best ever day of sales for a device family. Here’s what the carrier just announced:</div>

According to reports online, Microsoft Thailand’s Managing Director, Birathon Kasemsri Na Ayudhayay; the company is set to launch its “biggest consumer brand campaign” later this year and was quoted as saying: “[Microsoft] plans to collaborate with global phone makers Nokia, Samsung, HTC and LG to push its mobile OS to second in the smartphone market by 2015… It will introduce Windows Phone version 7.5 with Thai language support early next year.”</div>

It was way back in April when the HTC Bliss, HTC’s female-targeted device was first leaked onto the internet, and a few days ago when its specs were confirmed (which turned out to be pretty mediocre). Today, the folks over at Engadget reported that the device has successfully passed the inspection of the FCC, and should be making its way to retail outlets in the near future.</div>

Some results of the latest research from ClickFox, an analytics company, show that most Americans find Android and BlackBerry phones difficult to operate. ClickFox recently did some research on smartphone service costs and transfer rates, and it turns out that a lot of customer service representatives are usually on the phone talking about Android and BlackBerry phones. Apple’s iPhone clocked in the least agent calls and repeat agent calls within 24 hours. Apparently these calls are costing companies to lose revenue as well, with each call costing about $4 per customer. And according to their findings, 76.7% of phone calls are more likely to transfer because of Android handset related questions when compared to BlackBerry and iOS.</div>

I remember being able to get customized logos which replaced the operator name on my Nokia 3310 and I also remember being able to customize my own ringtones on the phone itself, and set custom ringtones for different people. If you’ve used Windows Mobile devices in the past, it looks like the Mango update for Windows Phone 7 will be bringing a familiar feature back.</div>

Let’s face it, the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play didn’t exactly make a huge splash when it dropped onto the market, and until now, it hasn’t really gained any traction. While the phone has very capable hardware for gaming (bar the terrible touchpads), its success has been marred largely due to the lack of legitimate PlayStation One games from the PlayStation Suite.</div>
