Amazon mount charm offensive on major record labels

<img src="http://cdn.mos.techradar.com//classifications/computing/internet-and-broadband/images/amazon-logo-200-200.jpg"/><p>Amazon is reportedly 'aggressively' courting the four main music publishers to be part of its online music store, but the chairman of one of Sony's music publishing companies has accused the retail giant of mounting 'another land grab'.</p><p>Amazon launched its iTunes competitor on Tuesday, but the music scuttlebutt is that major music labels were left a little nonplussed by the lack of warning.</p><p>However, according to the Wall Street Journal, who have spoken to 'people familiar to the matter' Amazon is now mounting a speedy charm offensive to win back the key player in the music industry.</p><p><strong>Major labels</strong></p><p>The four major labels are Sony Music Entertainment, EMI Group, Warner Music group and Universal Music Group – and a successful music store would need to have the majority if not all of them on board to become a genuine challenger to Apple's hugely popular, and also widely disliked, iTunes. </p><p>However, at least one section of Sony is not happy with Amazon, with the managing director of Sony/ATV Music Publishing (the joint venture involving Michael Jackson's estate) making his feelings clear.</p><p>"This is just another land grab," Martin Bandier told the WSJ. "I can't make it any plainer than that. How to Create Mailing Labels From a Zimbra Address Book

<P>Open Zimbra and select the "Preferences" window.</P><P>Select the "Address Book" tab, then select "Export as .csv file" under the "Import/Export" heading.</P><P>Click "Export."</P><P>Click on the name of the address book you wish to export in the "Choose Address Book" pop-up menu. Select "OK."</P><P>Select "Save to Disk" on the "Opening .csv" window. Select "OK."</P><P>Choose your location where you wish to save your document, then push "Save." Minimize the Zimbra window.</P><P>Open Microsoft Word.</P><P>Select "Step by Step Mail Merge Wizard" under "Start Mail Merge" on the "Mailing" tab.</P><P>Select "Labels" on the "Select document type" menu, then select "Next: Starting Document".</P><P>Choose "Change document layout," then click "Label options."</P><P>Select the type of printer, the label product name, and the label product number. The label product name and number are found on the labels' packaging. Select "OK."</P><P>Select "Next: Select Recipients," then select "Use an existing list" option.</P><P>Click "Browse," then locate the .csv address book file previously exported from Zimbra.</P><P>Double-click on the .csv file.</P><P>Choose the specific names you wish to use in the mailing labels under the "Mail Merge Recipient" box.</P><P>Select "OK," then select "Next," and then select "Address Block".</P><P>Select "Update all labels," then select "Next," and then click "Complete the merge."</P><P>Review the labels to ensure they display correctly. If they do not, press the back button and reselect "Address Block."</P><P>Select "Print" on the "File" menu once the labels are displayed on the screen. Select "OK."</P>
