I can’t see this happening when the U.S. still hasn’t even received the SGSII to begin with but we are hearing an upgraded model rocking 4G LTE and more will be announced.</div>

We are hearing the new upgraded model will feature a few very welcomed changes although the original was still a beast and one of the best phones around as it was. The new details are claiming a speed boost and we will see a 1.5 Ghz dual-core processor, as well as 4G LTE inside. The screen will be bumped up to 4.5″ and feature the new Super AMOLED Plus display but we aren’t sure on resolution but 1280x720p would be nice. It’s being touted to be the world’s first LTE/WCDMA/GSM multi-mode phone and even come with NFC capabilities too.</div>

According to Sammy Hub, it has a slight redesign and will feature a nice brushed aluminum rear rather than the usual plastic cover. Then that all important 4G LTE speed is also on board. This not only sounds like, but also looks like the recently leaked Samsung Celox 4G LTE (pictured below). It had a larger display and that brushed metal back, the only problem I’m unsure about is the 4G LTE. Yesterday reports confirmed that Verizon would not be getting the Samsung Galaxy S II and they have a stellar line-up of phones and didn’t need it. So who would get this new Galaxy S we are about to hear of?</div>

It could be an upcoming device launching on AT&T but they are still at least a few months away from having an up and running LTE network worth launching a flagship phone on, so all these details coming in seem to only make things more confusing. Either way a Samsung Galaxy S II or III with a larger screen, faster CPU, 4G LTE, and some brushed aluminum instead of cheap plastic build quality sounds amazing and I’d happily toss that in my pocket.</div>

The HTC Desire finally received its very own update to Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) this past Monday. Also expect an update very soon for the LG Revolution; it should include many bug fixes but still no Gingerbread upgrade. A couple applications saw new versions this week as well, Skype and Google+. Skype’s update in the Android Market included support for many more smartphones. As for Google+, you should definitely check out the improvements included into Huddles and Notifications. Those who unofficially update their devices will be pleased to know that the Sony XPERIA, Neo, PLAY, and Arc will officially be supported by CyanogenMod 7 very soon.</div>

AT&T recently informed it’s customers that it will move those with unlimited data to a tiered plan if they continue to tether their devices. This execution is most likely in response to their upcoming improved LTE data network. On that same note, the next generation Motorola ATRIX HD may run on AT&T’s 4G LTE towers.</div>

We’ve wondered who will be the SoC (System-on-a-chip) manufacturer for Google’s next flagship device for a long while now; and now it seems we have a winner! They seem to have chosen the Texas Instruments OMAP 4 CPU; nothing is set in stone, but this is the most information we’ve seen on the device.</div>

Wednesday, Chris Burns ran a hands-on and unboxing for the HTC Wildfire S on T-Mobile. The device hit stores later that same day. A more thorough review of the Wildfire S took place the next day (when we actually found out how good this mid-ranged smartphone actually was!) It turns out that the Wildfire S performed surprisingly well in the benchmarks with its 600Mhz single-core processor. Also unboxed this week was the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 with 4G LTE. This sleek tablet certainly won’t disappoint us in its upcoming in-depth review by Cory Gunther.</div>

Some interesting gadgets and applications have emerged this week, and hopefully some will set a trend into the future of technology. It turns out Motorola may be working on a new “Smartwatch” that runs Android OS. I’m not the kind of guy that wears a watch, but if this product actually takes flight then that may very well change! The Seagate GoFlex Satellite HDD now supports the Android operating system for transferring data over a WiFi connection. To use this feature, you must download the official Android app from the market. Another application worth taking a look at if you are in the market for buying a used car is VIN Viper. Just take a picture of the VIN # to get a rough price of what the vehicle is actually worth. It syncs with your Carfax account to look up any damages and incorporate them into the price. Yet another auto-oriented application released was the Nissan LEAF official Android app. With this, the driver will be able to see detailed specs on the life of their battery, set climate control, and even start the car remotely from your smartphone.</div>

A multimedia carry dock will sell for $49.99.</div>

So if the HTC Incredible was coded as the ADR6300 in Verizon's internal systems, just <i>what</i> do you think an ADR6400 could signify? A pair of screenshots from a VZW employee living out a Julian Assange daydream have seemingly confirmed the common expectation that Verizon will very soon deliver its Incredible successor -- better known to you and us as the LTE-equipped HTC Thunderbolt. Aiding and abetting the HTC handset in getting the red team's LTE network started will be Samsung's SCH-i520, an Android 2.2 device equipped with that most critical of accessories, a front-facing camera. Both are now standing on the precipice of showing up for sale, those zeroes in the stock column shouldn't remain so round for much longer.<br />
