We have seen a few reports from Qualcomm in the past but this leaked slide image shows the new S4 class of processors that are coming in 2012. With most chipset makers Qualcomm included behind NVIDIA with the dual-cores we’ve been wondering how the next step would look.</div>

S4 class shown above will be their highest offering for mobile, build on a smaller more efficient 28nm processor fabrication they should consume less power while being extremely powerful. The single/dual/quad stands for number of cores in the processor and while we aren’t expecting 2.5 Ghz quad-cores we can expect a few single-core chips to boast those impressive speeds.</div>

Obviously they have many more features but the key ingredients are quad-core, 2.5 Ghz, 3D, 1080p, LTE and more. Previous rumors had mentioned we wouldn’t be seeing quad-cores from Qualcomm til late 2012 but according to new details they could be shown off early 2012 in February at Mobile World Congress. Manufacturers should start receiving these new chips at the end of the year and some impressive devices will surely follow.</div>

New details have now confirmed what was previously just a rumor that the T-Mobile version will in fact be running with a different processor from the rest of the pack.</div>

The reason is still unknown but along with previous leaks of the Samsung Hercules it’s looking more likely that it will be powered by a 1.2 Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor instead. This goes along with all recent reports as well as the initial leak of the Samsung Hercules way back in May. The Hercules is the codename for the T-Mobile Galaxy S II in case you didn’t know and now things are finally coming together.</div>

The Galaxy S II for T-Mobile was just recently officially announced and we were there live to get some hands-on time with the device. Original details on launch date suggest the Samsung Exynos chip but newer reports are claiming what we’ve mentioned above so for now this is just “confirmed” speculation. We have heard reports regarding the processor being Qualcomm’s next-generation Snapdragon APQ8060 from the HP TouchPad and not what is in current phones like the Sensation 4G and EVO 3D so stay tuned as we dig for more details regarding this upcoming superphone.</div>

The Dell Venue was just launched in Hong Kong slightly ahead of its launch in South Korea, which is still expected later this month. Looking very similar to the Venue Pro, minus the curved back design and slide-out keyboard, the Venue will feature a 4.1 AMOLED display with a resolution of 800 x 480.<br />

Other hardware features of the device include a 1 GHz Snapdragon processor sporting 1GB ROM and 512MB RAM, microSD expansion slot, 8 megapixel auto focus camera with LED flash, Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS and a 1400mAh battery. The killer feature of this device is its curved AMOLED display which not only provides for great viewing angles, it is also said to feel more “natural” when swiping. <br />

Software wise it’s running the Stage UI with a preinstalled Swype keyboard. It’s based on Android 2.2 and from early tests of the device it’s looking like a pretty smooth and solid device. The Dell Venue is on sale now for HK$3,999 (US$514).<br />

How to Clock Your Processor

<P>Boot up your <a class="StrongLink" href="http://www.ehow.com/computers/">computer</A> and press the "Delete" key to enter the BIOS menu. Note that the BIOS hot key may be different, depending on your computer. Watch for the splash screen that displays when your computer first starts up and before Windows loads. Look for an instruction such as "Press [key] to enter BIOS" and press that key.</P><P>Navigate through the BIOS menu until you locate the option to increase the FSB (Front Side Bus) speed. This can usually be found on the "CPU" or "Overclocking" menu.</P><P>Increase the FSB speed by a value of one. This will increase the speed of the Front Side Bus on the computer, which carries data from the processor to the motherboard, by a value of 1 Mhz.</P><P>Locate the option to increase the CPU multiplier and increase this value by one. This will increase the multiplier used to calculate the CPU speed.</P><P>The speed of the processor is calculated by multiplying the FSB speed times the CPU multiplier. Adjust both numbers to achieve the clock speed you desire.</P><P>Exit the CPU sub-menu and return to the BIOS main page. Select the option to save your changes and exit the BIOS. The computer will restart and your new clock speed will be applied.</P>
