Disconnect all cables from the computer.
Open the computer's case as instructed by the manufacturer.
Unscrew each of the fan's four corner screws and remove the fan from the case.
Detach the fan's power cable.
Locate the sticker in the center of the fan on one side.
Peel the sticker off slowly until the small round plug is completely uncovered. Do not peel the sticker off completely.
Pry up the plug to reveal a hole. Inside this hole are the fan's bearings.
Drop one to two drops of mineral oil into the hole using an eyedropper.
Spin the fan through several revolutions with your finger to coat the bearings.
Reinsert the plug.
Press the sticker back down over the hole. It should stick by itself.
Screw the fan back into case. Reconnect the fan's power cable.
Close the case and reconnect all cables.
