The folks over at TmoNews have reported that dummy phones for the myTouch, myTouch Q and LG Doubleplay have started arriving at the carrier’s retail outlets. The phones are expected to launch on November 2<span class="Apple-style-span" mce_name="sup" mce_style="vertical-align: super;" style="color: #444444; font-family: Georgia, 'Bitstream Charter', serif; line-height: 1.5; vertical-align: super;">nd</span> so that gives you about half a month to play around with the dummy units to get a feel of them before deciding if they’re worth the wait. Looking forward to picking up a new device from T-Mobile this November? Well, for those of you who aren’t sure whether it’s worth waiting for, we’ve got some good news for you. The folks over at TmoNews have managed to get their hands on a picture of a T-Mobile roadmap showing what will be released on that special day. Reminiscent of T-Mobile’s sale back in 2010, there are a number of high-profile devices this time around.</div>

In November, consumers will be able to head over to T-Mobile retail outlets to get their hands on The Samsung Robin aka the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, the RIM “Duomine” aka BlackBerry Torch 9810, the Huawei “Tallsome” and the Huawei Sonic 4G Mobile Hotspot. For the smartphones, we’ll be seeing the LG myTouch and myTouch Q, the LG Flip II, the HTC Omega aka the HTC Radar 4G and the Samsung Ancora, which should be a replacement for the Exhibit 4G.</div>

In September 2009, Lipari visited an Apple Store trying to get help for an iPhone issue. He claimed he received no assistance, so he went home and posted to Facebook: "Joe Lipari might walk into an Apple store on Fifth Avenue with an Armalite AR-10 gas powered semi-automatic weapon and pump round after round into one of those smug, fruity little concierges," a paraphrased quote from <em>Fight Club</em>.<br/><br/>You can see where this is headed. One of Lipari's Facebook friends reported him to the police. Instead of a Genius Bar appointment, he wound up with two felony charges along with other charges of making terrorist threats and weapons.<br/><br/>The charges were dropped in February, but New York's Metro has run a profile on Lipari featuring shots of Lipari in the aforementioned Fifth Avenue Apple Store with a smirk and what some might think to be a very accurate headline. <img align="right" alt="" border="0" height="256" hspace="8" src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.tuaw.com/media/2010/12/cloak-256x-tjl.jpg" vspace="8" width="256" />The good thing about iOS text editors and other programs which can sync with Dropbox is that you don't have to use iTunes to back up the documents that you edit on your iPad or iPhone/iPod touch. The bad thing is that almost all of them save their files in a specific named folder in your Dropbox. This can lead to a lot of folders that you probably never use on your Mac, but end up looking at anytime you open your Dropbox.<br />
<br />
OS X gives you a way to hide those folders, but it usually involves the use of a command line utility called SetFile, which isn't included with Mac OS X unless you also install the developer tools. That's where <a href="http://www.taoeffect.com/">Cloak</a> (free, <a href="http://www.taoeffect.com/cloak/Cloak.zip">611 KB .zip download</a>) comes in.<br />

Cloak will let you hide or show any file, either by renaming the file to start with a period, or by setting the "Invisible" Finder Attribute. Renaming the file will cause problems with the aforementioned Dropbox syncing, so you want to use the Invisible Finder Attribute.<br />
