After initial reports suggested the Samsung Nexus S 4G might soon be getting updated to Android 2.3.5 it appears that it indeed will see the update starting next week. Starting Monday, July 25th, the Samsung Nexus S 4G OTA rollout to Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread will get under way. It will bring many changes and improvements to the WiMAX sporting device.</div>

This update will help the slow speeds the device has been plagued with on 4G WiMAX and it should not only be much faster, but also more stable. Samsung has just made the announcement that the rollout will start on the 25th, and should see most users devices within a 2-week period.</div>

The Samsung press release also touches on a few other things. They’ve fixed the wi-fi bugs, speakerphone and voice quality should sound better, and they’ve added a 4G toggle widget. According to my sources NFC will also be enabled with this Android 2.3.5 update but that is yet to be confirmed. Engadget was able to get the update early and they are reporting some pretty solid 4G speed improvements so feel free to head down to the via below for some screenshots.</div>

With leaked photos and even shown on Verizon roadmaps. Now we are seeing an entire accessory list for the upcoming successor to the original DROID series.</p><br/>Even looking at the top of the leaked image and not the accessory list it looks as if the Droid 3 will come with a 32GB MicroSD card included just like a few other Verizon phones of late so that is nice. On to that accessory list we see all sorts of goodies, from an extended battery over 1900 mAh to inductive charging and more, although you might want to get the HDMI cable somewhere else for cheap.<br/><br/>Motorola has been good in the past to release accessories like car docks and multimedia docks quickly along with their phones and the Droid 3 looks to be the same as I see a few of those listed as well. I wish all carriers did the same because I’d love a nice dock for a few of my Android phones sitting around. We should be hearing something official about the Droid 3 any time now and I’ve heard rumors of a July 14th release date so stay tuned for more.

The cities might not be large or huge markets but upgrades are always welcome and I think I speak for everyone on that.<br/><p style="text-align: left;">It is good to see carriers like T-Mobile and Verizon updating so fast and trying to get as much speed to their users as possible. I think a few other carriers should start taking notice, or just stand around and buy T-Mobile — that works too I guess. It isn’t a big list but it is a list indeed so here you go.</p><br/>-Barnstable, Massachusetts<br/>-Chico, California<br/>-Lancaster, Pennsylvania<br/>-Ogden, Utah,<br/>-Redding, California<br/>-Vineland, New Jersey<br/>-Winchester, Virginia<br/><br/>I’m sure more will be announced soon as they are planning on bringing several new markets up to 4G HSPA+ speeds this summer.
