Run some Internet speed tests on one of the free resources listed below to get an idea of what speeds your connection is currently getting. Run at least three speed tests, take the average upload and download speeds, and compare those to the speeds guaranteed by your Internet service provider (ISP).Reset the wireless network by unplugging the power cords of your Internet modem and your wireless router (if you use a wireless modem, simply unplug its power cord). Count a full 30 seconds and plug all power cords back in.
