You never know whether it might be spiked or not, but for those who prefer to take the risk in living an adventurous life can now receive a little bit of help from Israeli scientists – as they managed to come up with a sensor that will inform you in real-time whether your drink has already been spiked, comparing it against a database of commonly used date-rape drugs.</div> <div style="color: #444444; font-family: Georgia, 'Bitstream Charter', serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1.5; margin-bottom: 24px;"> Fernando Patolsky and Michael Ioffe of Tel Aviv University’s school of chemistry’s efforts have resulted in the sensor that looks like a straw or swizzle stick, where it will get around its job by sucking up a small sample of the drink, mixing it with a testing solution which will cause the stick to change color whenever it detects the presence of drugs. Just in case you want to test your drink in a dark club, there is also a red light which will go off for easy notification purposes.</div> <div style="color: #444444; font-family: Georgia, 'Bitstream Charter', serif; line-height: 1.5;"> <a href="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~ff/ubergizmo?a=U3oMyC-KMqQ:Z2AgI9R9BG8:yIl2AUoC8zA" mce_href="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~ff/ubergizmo?a=U3oMyC-KMqQ:Z2AgI9R9BG8:yIl2AUoC8zA" style="color: #0066cc; font-family: Georgia, 'Bitstream Charter', serif; line-height: 1.5;"><img alt="" border="0" mce_src="http://img855.imageshack.us/img855/2264/81071772.gif" src="http://img855.imageshack.us/img855/2264/81071772.gif" style="border-bottom-width: 0px; border-color: initial; border-left-width: 0px; border-right-width: 0px; border-style: initial; border-top-width: 0px; color: #444444; font-family: Georgia, 'Bitstream Charter', serif; line-height: 1.5; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; max-width: 640px;" /></a> <a href="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~ff/ubergizmo?a=U3oMyC-KMqQ:Z2AgI9R9BG8:qj6IDK7rITs" mce_href="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~ff/ubergizmo?a=U3oMyC-KMqQ:Z2AgI9R9BG8:qj6IDK7rITs" style="color: #0066cc; font-family: Georgia, 'Bitstream Charter', serif; line-height: 1.5;"><img alt="" border="0" mce_src="http://img263.imageshack.us/img263/1659/31954819.gif" src="http://img263.imageshack.us/img263/1659/31954819.gif" style="border-bottom-width: 0px; border-color: initial; border-left-width: 0px; border-right-width: 0px; border-style: initial; border-top-width: 0px; color: #444444; font-family: Georgia, 'Bitstream Charter', serif; line-height: 1.5; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; max-width: 640px;" /></a> <a href="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~ff/ubergizmo?a=U3oMyC-KMqQ:Z2AgI9R9BG8:gIN9vFwOqvQ" mce_href="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~ff/ubergizmo?a=U3oMyC-KMqQ:Z2AgI9R9BG8:gIN9vFwOqvQ" style="color: #0066cc; font-family: Georgia, 'Bitstream Charter', serif; line-height: 1.5;"><img alt="" border="0" mce_src="http://img651.imageshack.us/img651/9049/73370195.gif" src="http://img651.imageshack.us/img651/9049/73370195.gif" style="border-bottom-width: 0px; border-color: initial; border-left-width: 0px; border-right-width: 0px; border-style: initial; border-top-width: 0px; color: #444444; font-family: Georgia, 'Bitstream Charter', serif; line-height: 1.5; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; max-width: 640px;" /></a> <a href="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~ff/ubergizmo?a=U3oMyC-KMqQ:Z2AgI9R9BG8:-BTjWOF_DHI" mce_href="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~ff/ubergizmo?a=U3oMyC-KMqQ:Z2AgI9R9BG8:-BTjWOF_DHI" style="color: #0066cc; font-family: Georgia, 'Bitstream Charter', serif; line-height: 1.5;"><img alt="" border="0" mce_src="http://img594.imageshack.us/img594/4639/21703571.gif" src="http://img594.imageshack.us/img594/4639/21703571.gif" style="border-bottom-width: 0px; border-color: initial; border-left-width: 0px; border-right-width: 0px; border-style: initial; border-top-width: 0px; color: #444444; font-family: Georgia, 'Bitstream Charter', serif; line-height: 1.5; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; max-width: 640px;" /></a></div> <div> <br /></div> </div> </div>
