» Date rape drug detector has high success detection rate
Fernando Patolsky and Michael Ioffe of Tel Aviv University’s school of chemistry’s efforts have resulted in the sensor that looks like a straw or swizzle stick, where it will get around its job by sucking up a small sample of the drink, mixing it with a testing solution which will cause the stick to change color whenever it detects the presence of drugs. Just in case you want to test your drink in a dark club, there is also a red light which will go off for easy notification purposes.
