Well, we’re glad to say that the future might just elicit the same kind of response, although it will be slightly different in application. No longer do you offer up prayers, but rather, fire a powerful laser to the sky in order to produce water droplets in the air – a certainly different step from cloud-seeding in an effort to trigger rainfall.</div>

This technique is known as “laser-assisted water condensation”, where it will enable humans to have some level of control over where and when rain will fall should the atmosphere have a high enough humidity level. Researchers have already demonstrated this particular technique in field tests after sending a mobile laser laboratory which is roughly the size of a small garage over to the banks of the Rhône located near lake Geneva in Switzerland.</div>

DARPA, an arm of the Pentagon, has just rolled out the official solicitation for its “100 Year Starship” project that has the intention of sending human beings to space, letting them enjoy interstellar voyages within this coming century? Of course, what you see above is the Star Destroyer from the Star Wars space opera, and I sure as heck wonder just how a future starship would look like. I would have preferred a more organic design like that of the Mon Calamari cruisers.</div>

So far, there is just a very small amount of US government seed money handed by DARPA to the tune of $500,000 in order to achieve the project’s success. It does seem as though it will take plenty of clout within the US government and the public to have a project of this magnitude take off. Do you think that this particular starship project will be able to take off eventually? Even so, how many of us are able to afford the airfare – wait a minute, the space fare when such a trip exists?</div>

What's more, this particular model isn't just WiFi-only like the current Galaxy Tab 10.1 -- it also sports 3G connectivity, and the bands specified in the FCC filing indicate that it's likely headed to AT&T. Interestingly, we've already seen this model number (GT-P7300) pop up at the FCC before, at which point we thought it was the WiFi + 3G version of the Galaxy Tab 10.1. But the more detailed sketch in this latest filing seems to depict a device that's both smaller and ever so slightly tweaked (including a relocated headphone jack), so it would seem to indeed be the 8.9 after all.</div>
