While the company has told us it cannot confirm details about the event – and asked that we not mention where in London it will take place – the language indicates this will be another of the company’s high-profile public events.</div>
<div style="color: #444444; font-family: Georgia, 'Bitstream Charter', serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1.5; margin-bottom: 24px;">
Saved for the firm’s more significant launches, and usually announced at the HTC UK Facebook page, these parties give would-be buyers a chance to play with new smartphones well ahead of retail availability. Although the early October timeline could indicate Windows Phone 7 related news, the fact that HTC has already announced its new Mango-based line-up suggests it’s Android that’s on the cards.</div>
<div style="color: #444444; font-family: Georgia, 'Bitstream Charter', serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1.5; margin-bottom: 24px;">
Most likely candidate, then, is the HTC Vigor, which is expected to see the company debut a 4.3-inch 1280 x 720 HD-capable display. Running what’s believed to be the same 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm processor as in the new Sensation XE, in addition to an 8-megapixel main camera, the Vigor has been described to Android Community as the first HTC handset to include Beats Audio in its design “from the ground up.”</div>

With no surprise here it looks a bit similar to most of the recent HTC offerings, although that isn’t a bad thing as they have stellar build quality. This isn’t the first time we’ve seen this 1.5 Ghz dual-core powered LTE rocking phone either. More details after the break.</div>

A few weeks back the first HTC Vigor images leaked showing us a glimpse of the backside of the phone. I feel it looks just like the DROID Incredible, and now the front has the same shape and design too with this new press photo. Latest rumors and this leaked roadmap claims the Vigor will be the Thunderbolt 2, or will at least replace the Thunderbolt. I have a feeling those rumors will be untrue and instead this will be a DROID Incredible HD or Incredible LTE.</div>
<div style="color: #444444; font-family: Georgia, 'Bitstream Charter', serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1.5; margin-bottom: 24px;">
As for specs, we have what is rumored to be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 1.5 GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, a huge 4.5″ HD 1280</div>

This bad boy pictured below is the new HTC Vigor that will be landing on Verizon sometime early October if leaks are correct. This will be the replacement to the HTC Thunderbolt. Yes the Vigor will be that awesome. Although at first look this looks very similar to the HTC Incredible with the weird backing and red accents, just saying.</div>
<div style="color: #444444; font-family: Georgia, 'Bitstream Charter', serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1.5; margin-bottom: 24px;">
<span style="color: #444444; font-family: Georgia, 'Bitstream Charter', serif; line-height: 1.5;"></span></div>
<div style="color: #444444; font-family: Georgia, 'Bitstream Charter', serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1.5; margin-bottom: 24px;">
First leaks of the Vigor suggested a 1.5 Ghz dual-core CPU, Verizon 4G LTE, a 4.3″ 720p HD display with the qHD branding and more. While details are still very thin with this just leaking it does look pretty and we also have a picture of the front.</div>
<div mce_style="text-align: center;" style="color: #444444; font-family: Georgia, 'Bitstream Charter', serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1.5; margin-bottom: 24px; text-align: center;">
<img alt="" class="size-medium wp-image-49704 aligncenter" height="324" mce_src="http://img696.imageshack.us/img696/1451/htcvigor4283x540.jpg" src="http://img696.imageshack.us/img696/1451/htcvigor4283x540.jpg" style="border-bottom-width: 0px; border-color: initial; border-left-width: 0px; border-right-width: 0px; border-style: initial; border-top-width: 0px; clear: both; color: #444444; display: block; font-family: Georgia, 'Bitstream Charter', serif; line-height: 1.5; margin-bottom: 12px; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; margin-top: 0px; max-width: 640px;" title="htc-vigor4" width="170" /></div>
<div style="color: #444444; font-family: Georgia, 'Bitstream Charter', serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1.5; margin-bottom: 24px;">
The more I look at the pictures this seriously just looks like a Droid Incredible, but then again we have this leaked roadmap clearly stating the HTC Vigor will replace the HTC Thunderbolt so some would assume it would be a bigger brother or something similar. We don’t have a kickstand and the rear does look nothing like the Thunderbolt so this could very well be some sort of follow up to the Incredible to carry along with DROID branding, Maybe the HTC Droid Incredible LTE.</div>
<div style="color: #444444; font-family: Georgia, 'Bitstream Charter', serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1.5; margin-bottom: 24px;">
HTC recently acquired Beats Audio and we heard a few sources suggest phones would get some sort of branding in the future but we aren’t seeing that here either. What does everyone think? Incredible LTE or a Thunderbolt replacement?</div>

While this isn’t anything major, it’s one more step closer to us actually seeing and owning this awesome device. For those that might not remember much about the HTC Vigor, it will be the replacement for the HTC Thunderbolt over on Verizon Wireless. That alone should get you excited.</div>
<div style="color: #444444; font-family: Georgia, 'Bitstream Charter', serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1.5; margin-bottom: 24px;">

<div style="color: #444444; font-family: Georgia, 'Bitstream Charter', serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1.5; margin-bottom: 24px;">
In case you didn’t see the original details it was first leaked here and later confirmed to be an HTC device headed to Verizon with 4G LTE. It will sport a high resolution 1280x720p HD display that is at least 4.3″ or bigger, will have a 1.5 Ghz dual-core Snapdragon processor and come with Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread at launch.</div>
<div style="color: #444444; font-family: Georgia, 'Bitstream Charter', serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1.5; margin-bottom: 24px;">
That isn’t the last of it though, we’ve recently spotted it on a leaked Verizon roadmap but that didn’t get us many details other than confirming it was coming soon. It was this full roadmap leak that tells us all about what Verizon has planned ahead. If you look closely we see the HTC Vigor is slated for an early October launch, and will be replacing the highly popular HTC Thunderbolt. We are expecting a pretty awesome device to knock off the flagship 4G LTE phone from Verizon, but we’ll have to wait and see.</div>
