We first saw it clear the FCC back in September as the HTC Vigor (codename), but today it made a surprise stop for round 2 and it seems to be sporting some wireless charging capabilities.</div> <div style="color: #444444; font-family: Georgia, 'Bitstream Charter', serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1.5; margin-bottom: 24px;"> <span style="color: #444444; font-family: Georgia, 'Bitstream Charter', serif; line-height: 1.5;"></span></div> <div style="color: #444444; font-family: Georgia, 'Bitstream Charter', serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1.5; margin-bottom: 24px;"> HTC and Verizon are expected to unveil their next flagship 4G LTE phone, the HTC Rezound (aka Vigor) at the HTC Media event set for November 3rd. The Rezound has been spotted a few times in Verizon’s system rocking a $299 price tag. With the HTC announcement pending and the new sighting at the FCC we have a pretty good feeling we’ll be seeing the Rezound come November 3rd.</div> <div style="color: #444444; font-family: Georgia, 'Bitstream Charter', serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1.5; margin-bottom: 24px;"> For those that might have missed it, the HTC Rezound should sport a 4.3″ 1280 x 720p display and a beefy 1.5 GHz dual-core processor — not to mention Verizon 4G LTE. While we don’t get Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich at launch, we expect it to receive an update hopefully fairly quick. Most likely we’ll know all the details after the media event linked to above, set for November 3rd. Latest leaks suggest November 10th is when the HTC Rezound and its Beats Audio will start bumpin the streets so stay tuned for more details.</div> </div> </div>

This updated OS will include a ridiculous amount of improvements – both cosmetically and with systematical functioning. A completely new lockscreen, new standard homescreen, and practically every standard application has been re-wrapped with Android 4.0′s new cyan-colored theme. Like past OS updates, this version of Android will include a new collection of ringtones and notification audio tones (now available). Editing photographs is now possible within the new Gallery application, and the camera is vastly improved over previous versions. The device will be able to read their owners pulse through the headphones to determine songs they workout best to! The DROID RAZR will be the thinnest smartphone to hit the market come November 10th. It will have many exclusive accessories including lapdocks, keyboards and more. Unfortunately, the RAZR will have a locked bootloader and a non-removable battery; developers – don’t plan on rooting this device with ease. First, he could have some sort of insider knowledge of the future and he could be speaking with Google reps on the phone daily. This is a whole heck of a lot less likely than the second possibility: Shravan is able to use the internet and frequents sites like Android Community where he read the headline Ice Cream Sandwich coming October of November says Eric Schmidt. He’s also probably following news on the Nexus Prime like every other Android fan on the planet and happened across the story that noted in addition to its possible 1.5 Ghz dual-core processor, it’d have an October release alongside Ice Cream Sandwich.</div> <div style="color: #444444; font-family: Georgia, 'Bitstream Charter', serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1.5; margin-bottom: 24px;"> Shravan does have a few more ideas though perhaps based in well-read near-reality. The first of these is that, as he says, “if you go by the industry signals, OMAP is the preferred platform for the next wave of devices.” He adds that OMAP will also “see ICS” before Tegra. This is certainly not the first time we’ve heard that Google would team with Texas Instruments for OMAP4, and since NVIDIA’s Tegra 2 dual-core processor was the hero for Google’s Honeycomb release (see: Motorola XOOM), we can assume that Google will be giving another group a chance at glory this time around. The ARM-powered device is reportedly being manufactured by Compal, but beyond that your guess is as good as ours. By the time it lands we should be getting our first taste of Ice Cream Sandwich, but it's a pretty safe bet if this unnamed device does ship later this year, it'll do so with Honeycomb on board.

What this tablet COULD mean for us is a 7-inch tablet (though in the past we’ve also hear 5-inch and/or 10-inch, just to cover all the bases, and an Android with massively present user interface overlay. Big fat tablets from the East, what we desire!</p><br/><span> </span><br/><br/>You’ll also want to learn the following: the 10.8-inch version of this tablet rolled through the FCC earlier this year. You’ll be having a look now at the EB-W71LJ-H, which if you follow along with the names, the EB-W51GJ being the 5.5-inch model, you’ll see that a 7-incher is indeed on the way. All we know about this tablet thus far is that it’ll be connecting over 802.11b/g/n WiFi radio and that it is, indeed, on its way into America.<br/><br/>Now we’ve just got to decide if it’ll be any better than every other tablet we’ve gotten to see over the past few weeks and months – and wonder if it’ll feature Ice Cream Sandwich by the time it comes out, or if it’ll still be rocking Honeycomb. How would you change Sony Ericsson's Xperia Play?
