Well, that has not stopped Apple from churning out iPod touches, and surely Samsung would relish at the chance to fill this niche if you’re thinking of getting a new PMP. We’re talking about the Samsung Galaxy S WiFi 4.0 that has just been launched in Singapore.</div>
<div style="color: #444444; font-family: Georgia, 'Bitstream Charter', serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1.5; margin-bottom: 24px;">
This PMP will come with a 4″ display, where it will retail for S$328 thereabouts. Just in case you were wondering how come the Galaxy S WiFi 4.0 looks just like a clone of the Samsung Galaxy S handset, that is because it is heavily inspired by that – save for the fact that it does no phone calls.</div>
<div style="color: #444444; font-family: Georgia, 'Bitstream Charter', serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1.5; margin-bottom: 24px;">
Other hardware specifications include a new and improved 4″ Super Clear TFT display, a microSD memory card slot, Bluetooth 3.0 and Wi-Fi connectivity, an integrated FM radio, a 3.2-megapixel camera and a 1,200mAh battery to keep it going for hours on end. Can’t wait to see this hit the FCC before, if ever, it arrives Stateside.</div>

FCC filings have shown off an upcoming device known as the ARNOVA 7b G2 – where it is open season to speculate just what the “G2″ suffix in the naming convention means. Some say it stands for “Generation 2”, where label photos of the device’s back point towards a new and curved design which differs a wee bit from the original ARNOVA 7, as that model came with flat sides, a tapered top and bottom.</div>
<div style="color: #444444; font-family: Georgia, 'Bitstream Charter', serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1.5; margin-bottom: 24px;">
Apart from that, the FCC filings do not reveal other additional things about the device apart from Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. Do you think that Archos will retain the sub-$100 price point for the updated ARNOVA 7 when it is released?,</div>
