Maybe they’ve had a little extra prep time now that Google aims to take control of Motorola Mobility, we don’t know but either way this is good news.</div>

The tweet doesn’t reveal much, and quite often these comments on Twitter by big companies quickly get updated when someone makes a mistake (not saying this is or isn’t). We are just glad to hear this fast of a turn around might actually be possible from Motorola. Here is what the official tweet had to say:</div>

When asked if the Atrix would receive 4.0 ICS the answer above is what was given, that is a good sign although we’ve recently heard the new DROID RAZR wont get 4.0 until early 2012 but that is a little longer than 6 weeks — just saying. We could be looking a bit deep with this comment and even though it was a reply to a device update they mention “releasing” devices with Ice Cream Sandwich soon, not updating. Most likely they are referring to a few tablets we’ve recently seen at the FCC but with a comment so bleak it’s really anyone’s guess.</div>

They seem to have confirmed that the Bionic, RAZR and Xoom will all get 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich within 6 weeks of Google releasing it. We aren’t really sure if they mean they’ll actually update these devices 6 weeks after ICS launches, or if they’ll just announce dates for when the updates will actually be available. 6 weeks from the end of November is early 2012, so we should be seeing some updates or at least hearing some news by then. It’s called the DROID Bionic and I don’t think I’ve seen much about this phone lately. Almost daily now we have seen a leak or a photo of some sort and it’s to the point of almost irritation. Can Verizon just release this bad boy already? Today new pictures are popping up from multiple sources showing the Droid Bionic as “coming soon” in Best Buy ad magazines and more.</div>

The Motorola Droid Bionic is only what like 4 months late to the market, unless we are counting when we saw it at CES but that wouldn’t really be fair. Just to help you readers out here are a few of the recent leaks. We saw some impressive speedtest results a few days ago, leaked photos of it and the Droid HD, and more recently a tips and guide manual. Latest reports are still suggesting a September launch date although we did hear some rumors of it coming late August but that is doubtful.</div>

So what does everything think about all these leaks so far? Are there so many that you don’t really care to see a flyer or Best Buy ad, or are all these leaks that are happening almost daily a good sign that it may be coming sooner than we think? I’m not trying to rain on the Bionic and its parade but I’m already switching my focus to the Droid HD and the Samsung Nexus Prime, but that’s just me.</div>

Either way this phone should and better launch soon, if for some odd reason they delay it again I don’t think it would end well for Motorola or Verizon.</div>

Sony Ericsson Xperia PLAY Root and Unlocked Bootloader Coming Soon

We aren’t sure how active the entire Xperia Play development
community is but we did hear it will be getting CyanogenMod 7 soon so
that is a start. Some new breakthroughs over on XDA are showing that
users soon might be able to root and unlock the bootloader on the
gaming phone.<br />

The Xperia Play hasn’t received a lot of love since it first
launched but you can read out full review here. Our man Chris Davies
also reviewed it for SlashGear. If you look at the image above it
appears the dev community has been able to unlock the bootloader, a
good sign indeed.<br />

Then the image above shows that all important superuser app, as well
as the highly popular Titanium backup. Soon Xperia Play users can
backup all that game save data and flash custom roms and Cyanogenmod 7
all while being able to restore their precious gaming sessions. Sony
did provide an unlock tool for many of their devices but the Verizon
and other Xperia Play’s did not get the join that party so now its up
