It looks like the upcoming Nexus Prime might be called the Galaxy Nexus on Verizon’s network or Big Red is going to launch a new phone called the Galaxy Nexus. The folks over at Droid-Live managed to get their hands on a screenshot showing Verizon’s inventory system and there happens to be a phone called the Galaxy Nexus arriving in the future.
Some additional details about the phone were made known with the inventory listing though: while it will have a 4G LTE radio, it looks like it won’t have global phone capabilities. And if this phone is Verizon’s version of the Nexus Prime, the GSM versions of the phone could possibly support the feature. Fortunately the official unveiling of the Nexus Prime is happening next week, so we won’t have to wait too long to find out. Stay tuned for more details, we’ll keep you posted.
