the week TheWeek.com gets its iOS and Android apps, compliments of Zumobi


TheWeek.com, which has recently surpassed 1.7 million unique visitors, got its mobile apps for the iOS and Android platforms. Created with Zumobi, the new mobile application is available as a free download, courtesy of an exclusive launch sponsorship by Lincoln.

Zumobi made sure THE WEEK’s app looks great. Users can easily browse articles in different categories, including latest news, editor’s choice, news, business and the arts. TheWeek.com’s popular political cartoons are also available with pinch and zoom functionality, and there are also “social features,” allowing users to save and share articles (and cartoons) with friends via Facebook, Twitter and/or email.

Commenting on the mobile app launch, THE WEEK’s Deidre Depke (General Manager of Digital) said: “We’re delighted that our readers will now be able to access content from TheWeek.com directly from their mobile device.
