If you are a geek in the UK running the Galaxy S smartphone from Samsung you have a sweet early Christmas present to enjoy. Samsung UK has confirmed by Tweet that you can now update your device to Android 2.2 Froyo.
Samsung has confirmed that the update is good for the Galaxy S on all networks and you can hop over to the Samsung support site for downloads and more details. The announcement was made only a few minutes ago so you can hop over now and start getting your downloads and the manual before the site gets too busy.
