Instructions for Qwest Mail

Launch Windows Live Mail. Click the "Accounts" tab at the top of the window, and then click the "Email" button.
Type your full email address ending in "@qwest.net" in the "Email Address" box.
Type your password in the "Password" box, and place a check in the "Remember this password" box if you do not want to enter the password each time Windows Live Mail checks for new messages.
Type the name that you would like others to see when receiving messages from you in the "Display name for your sent messages" box.
Click the "Manually configure server settings" box, and then click "Next."
Click the drop-down menu next to "Server Type" and select "POP."
Type "pop.mpls.qwest.net" in the "Server Address" box under "Incoming Server Information." Make sure that the port number is "110."
Type the part of your email address before the "@" symbol in the "Logon User Name" box.
Type "pop.mpls.qwest.net" in the "Server Address" box under "Outgoing Server Information." Make sure that the port number is "25."
Click "Next," and then click "Finish" to begin using your Qwest email account.
