Launch Outlook Express and click the "New Mail" button to begin composing a new message.
Click the "Insert" menu at the top of the window, and select "File Attachment." Alternatively, click the "Paper Clip" button.
Navigate to the location of the file that you would like to attach, and double-click it. Windows returns to the message composition screen. The name of the file is now displayed in the "Attach" box at the top of the window.
Finish typing the message, and then click the "Send" button to send it.
