Log in to a server computer with admin rights. Click "Start," then click "Administrative Tools."

Click to open "Active Directory Users and Computers."

Click "View" and choose "Advanced Features" from the context menu.

Right-click the Outlook account that has access to the Task Notes you wish to restore. Choose "Properties" from the context menu.

Click "Mailbox Rights..."

Click to select "SELF" under the "Group or user names" sub-section.

Place a check-mark under "Allow" beside "Associated External Account" and "Full Mailbox Access."

Click "Apply."
