Click "Start," and then "Settings" and click "Control Panel." The "Control Panel" window will open.
Double-click "Network." The "Network" window will open.
Click the "Configuration" tab, then select the "TCP/IP" listing for the adapter the computer uses to connect to the network. For example, select the Ethernet adapter next to "TCP/IP" -- if your computer uses an Ethernet connection to access the network.
Click the "Properties" button. The "TCP/IP Properties" window will open.
Click the "DNS Configuration" tab, and then type the new domain name in the "Domain" text box. Click the "OK" button. Restart the computer when prompted.
