The store is called the Premium Samsung Apps Store for Android. Samsung says the UK is one of the first locations to get the new store offering premium apps like games and more. The purpose of the store is to sell premium apps to users that complement the free downloads that Samsung offers already.</div>

There will be a number of apps on the Premium store and some of the more popular ones include Zenonia, the Sims 3 HD, Need for Speed Shift HD, and 9mm. Samsung notes that there is no sign up process required and the new store makes it easy for Samsung smartphone owners to get premium apps. Apps purchased on the store are paid for using a credit card. In the coming future the premium apps will be able to be billed directly to the customer’s phone bill.</div>

Future payment options will also allow the buyer to deduct the cost from a SIM card balance. The prices of the apps will vary depending on the app and the pricing is noted on a per app basis on the store. UK Samsung owners can start downloading today.</div>

It’s the world’s smallest PC that fits into the palm of your hand, and it runs Windows 7. Thursday the company announced that its new F-07C mobile phone is slated to land in Japan from NTT DOCOMO beginning July 23, 2011. According to the company, the device comes equipped with basic PC functionality: an Intel Atom processor, the Windows 7 OS, a two-year Microsoft Office Personal 2010 license, and the latest version of Internet Explorer 9, all these on a smartphone. Users simply switch from mobile mode to Windows 7 mode with the touch of a button.</div>

The actual specs claim the device sports a 4-inch SVGA touchscreen (1024 x 600), a 5.1MP camera, a 1.2 GHz Intel Atom Z600 CPU, 1 GB of LPDDR400 memory, a 32 GB SSD and IEEE802.11b/g/n connectivity with speeds up to 65 Mbps. There’s also a USB port for connecting a keyboard or mouse, and an HDMI output jack for connecting to an HDTV. There’s even a slide-out QWERTY keyboard for typing on-the-go.</div>

Nero is best known for its disc-burning tools, but now that most operating systems offer apps for making your own CDs and DVDs, it's branched out into other areas. <br />
With Nero Video Premium HD, the company has set its sights on the home video editing market, with a focus on high-def enthusiasts. While there are several features that put Nero Video Premium HD in a strong position to match its competitors, it's the multicore processor and graphics card optimisation that grab your attention and make a noticeable difference. <br />
Editing HD footage is resource intensive, so the support for CUDA and its use of parallel processing is welcome. <br />
Importing files and adding effects is quick and trouble-free, and the software's interface is superb – you can find the tools you want easily, and view the results in a large preview screen while you edit your movie. <br />
There's a wealth of effects to add to your movie, and they're much more impressive than those offered by most video editing packages. As you drag and drop them onto your video, they're added to the 'Properties' panel, where you can tweak them on the fly. <br />
You can also extract the soundtrack from your footage, which makes fine-tuning the audio a lot easier than normal. <br />
A less welcome feature is the Nero Ask toolbar. During the installation process you'll see a prompt suggesting that you install it, but it's a pretty useless addition that hijacks your browser, home page and default search provider. Free programs might get away with trying to install sponsored toolbars, but it leaves a nasty taste in the mouth when products you've paid for attempt the same trick. <br />
As you'd expect from a Nero product, there's a wide array of export and disc-burning options, enabling you to display videos on almost any medium, from Blu-ray to YouTube. <br />
It might indulge in some less attractive habits, such as trying to install unwanted and unnecessary programs, but Nero Video Premium HD is a decent tool for editing high-def video.
