Click "Start," and then Control Panel. Click "System and Security" then "Backup and Restore." On the left side of the screen click "Create a System Recovery Disk."

Insert a blank CD or DVD into your computer's CD/DVD writer and click "Create Disc."

Click "Close" to finish creating the Windows 7 recovery disc.

Restart your computer with the Windows 7 recovery disc inserted and press any key when prompted.

Select your language when prompted and click "Next" to open a list of recovery options.

Click on the option labeled "System Restore."

Click "Next" and select a restore point on the screen that appears. Each system restore point will have a short description to help you decide what the outcome of the system restore will be.

Click "Next" again and then click "Finish" to begin restoring your computer to an earlier time. After restoring, your computer will boot normally.
