Samsung just got some more bad news. A German court has upheld an earlier preliminary injunction on the Galaxy Tab 10.1. Now Germany joins most of the rest of the EU on the list of countries that ban Samsung from selling its tablet. The injunction came as a result of Apple's legal moves to stop sales of the device, citing its similarities with the iPad.</div>

This isn't the worst news of the month for Samsung, however. Last week a Dutch court ordered EU-wide preliminary injunctions against all Samsung Galaxy smartphones. That ban goes into effect on October 13, 2011 and will arguably hurt much more than the Galaxy Tab ban. After all, smartphones are a much larger piece of Samsung's revenue than the Tab.</div>

Speaking to PhotoRadar, Leica UK's Richard Swan spoke of the delays the company had been experiencing, suggesting an average three month wait for most customers.</div>

Although Leica is a German manufacturer, which uses sensors from an American company (Kodak), some smaller components are produced in Japan.</div>

At the moment, according to Swan, the demand for the M9 and M9-P outstrips availability, but he said that three months was the absolute longest that a customer would have to wait.</div>

But Swan was also keen to point out that Leica is in no rush to speed up the process, allowing factories to take as long as they needed. "We won't rush to get them out, just to meet demand – that's not the Leica way - and the Japanese have bigger issues to tackle at the moment," he told us.</div>

The Leica M9 is a full-frame digital rangefinder which was launched in 2009 and features an 18.5 million pixel Kodak CCD sensor. The Leica M9-P was introduced in June featuring a tougher, scratch-resistant sapphire coated screen and more discreet branding for professional photographers.</div>

Both cameras are claimed to be the world's smallest full-frame system cameras and are designed with photojournalists in mind. The M9 retails at around £4,950 (body only) while the M9-P RRP is £5,395 (body only).</div>

Sky 3D to showcase 3D Nazis in May

<p style="text-align: center;"><img alt="" class="aligncenter" src="http://img42.imageshack.us/img42/4324/nazi3d200200.jpg" /></p><br/>Sky will show off what it claims to be the first 3D Nazi footage, with the satellite giant to show off rare film from World War II in May.<br/><br/>A co-production between Sky and History, by Flight 33, will showcase stereoscopic footage film found in the archives of the Imperial War Museum.<br/><br/>That footage apparently shows "Nazi soldiers" (or are they just German?) running, shouting and firing in 3D – showing off their anti-aircraft capabilities.<br/><br/><strong>Only known live action 3D footage?</strong><br/><br/>"It is the only known 3D footage showing Nazis in live action," states Sky. "Alongside the 3D haul, a 2D film produced by the Nazis, explaining how to project in 3D, was also unearthed."<br/><br/>We're not entirely clear if this is the same footage as the 3D Nazi propaganda which found in Berlin earlier in the year.<br/><br/>The hour-long programme will be shown off next month on Sky 3D, with the air date set at 26 May at 10pm.<br/><br/>"This is truly a remarkable find – seeing the 3D footage made by the Nazis and the accompanying films on how to use them is a compelling insight into how the medium was used during the war," said Sky 3D director John Cassy.<br/><br/>"3D is often seen as a modern innovation, but this incredible footage reminds us that it's been around for decades – we're completely thrilled to be working with IWM to remaster it for the 21st century."
