It is also pretty cheap to manufacture. As the anode and the cathode material gets "used up" as it drains, it's easily disposable as well. It's just a millimeter thick and runs at 1.5 volts. It is also claimed to be quite environmentally friendly, as it does not use mercury.<br /> <br /> Products running using this battery can be expected to see production by next year.
