Gateway E6000 Motherboard Error Codes

Gateway E6000 motherboards are used for desktop personal computers. According to Gateway online support, a Gateway motherboard may return errors based on BIOS beep codes.

When a Gateway E6000 motherboard is used on a 9315 server, typical error codes usually occur prior to video initialization through a series of audio beep codes and after video initialization through onscreen error displays. They include BIOS beep codes, boot block error codes, memory BIOS messages and storage errors.

As returned by a Gateway E6000 motherboard, an error code 0000 defines a timer error. When an error code 0000 is displayed while initializing the boot process, the process is usually involuntarily halted until an appropriate input is provided to begin the boot process. Error codes 0003, 0004 and 0005 in a Gateway E6000 motherboard indicate CMOS errors. An error code 0003 indicates that a motherboard CMOS battery is low, while an error code 0004 is a message indicator that CMOS settings are wrong.

On the other hand, error code 0005 is an indicator of bad CMOS Checksum. When these errors occur, they pause a boot process until corrective action is taken. According to Gateway online support, these error codes are associated with "Unknown BIOS errors".

An error code 0047 returns an "unknown BIOS error with an error code message display 147" (this is really a PMM_MEM_ALLOC_ERR). Along with error code 0048, which depicts a password check failure, and error code 0049, which indicates an error parameter 149, it halts a boot process as an error message is displayed in a selection. These errors prevent a system from booting unless corrected.

When using a Gateway E6000 motherboard, error codes 0044, 0045 and 0046 are an indicator of Direct Memory Access (DMA) errors. According to Gateway online support, error code 0044 indicates a DMA controller error. Consequently, error codes 0045 and 0046 depict DMA-1 errors and DMA -2 errors, respectively.

During a boot process, these DMA errors usually halt a boot process. By displaying the error messages onscreen, further booting cannot take place until the errors are resolved. According to Gateway support, when using a gateway E6000 motherboard resource, error codes 8500--8506 are an indicator of bad or missing memory in respective slots. During a boot process, these errors are associated with pausing a boot process until an appropriate input has been provided or a corrective action taken.

When using a Gateway E6000 motherboard, error codes 8110--8181 usually indicate processor-related anomalies. According to Gateway online support, the anomalies range from internal errors, thermal trip errors, a disabled processor and a failed processor, as well as failed BIOS support.

When these errors are reported during the boot process, onscreen warning messages are displayed, with the booting process often continuing under a degraded state. In other instances, the process is paused, pending appropriate corrective action.

Why Do I Get Page Load Error?

<a be="" can="" errors="" load="" page="" title="#jsArticleIntroImageCredit rel=thinbox><IMG title=">

Page Load Errors can be annoying.Fotolia.com"> Nothing can be more annoying than a "page load error" when you're trying to browse <a class="StrongLink"" href="http://www.ehow.com/internet/">the Internet. You might assume such a message means there's something wrong with your Internet connection, but that's not necessarily the case. There can be a number of reasons for an error message.

ReasonsIt may be your Internet connection at fault. Sometimes there is a compatibility problem between certain web pages and certain browsers. It is possible that the web page is being updated and that's why you can't access it. In addition, viruses and malware can slow down your computer to the point where it is impossible to connect to the internet.Heavy TrafficSometimes a lot of traffic on the Internet can result in a page load error. Typically this can happen if you try to log on to a website at a busy time of day. Or, it can happen if you are attempting to access a website at a popular time -- for a example, the site for a TV reality show when the program has just finished.SolutionsTry opening a different web page and see if it loads. If it doesn't, check your cables and see if anything has come unplugged. If that's not the case, you may have to contact your service provider. Close the browser and try to open your page in a different one -- try Firefox, Chrome, Safari, or Internet Explorer. Wait an hour and then try again. Run all your anti-virus software, and then try to connect again.
