How to Connect DIRECTV to a Computer on an On Demand Adapter

<P>Insert an Ethernet cord in the slot marked "Out" on your router. Attach the opposite part of your Ethernet cord in the "Ethernet" slot on your DIRECTV box.</P><P>Insert your wireless router in a power outlet in your wall. Then power on your router.</P><P>Turn on your DIRECTV box to enable it to automatically identify your online connection.</P><P>Click "Configure Now." Then select your home wireless connection. Enter the pass code that you want to use to access this particular network, and click "Continue."</P><P>Adhere to the directions on your computer screen to conclude the setup process. Look for the message that lets you know that your DIRECTV box now has an online connection.</P><P>Push "Menu" on the DIRECTV remote control device you have. Push "Parental," FAV's and Setup," and "Choose Network." Finally, push "Connect Now" and the word "Continue."Press the "Done" option to complete the entire process.</P>
