HeyWire brings its mobile messaging service to Facebook

Mobile messaging app/service HeyWire, which allows iOS and Android device owners to text for less (and/or free), is now also available as a Facebook app. As a result, it is said that it’s “even easier to keep in touch with friends and family around the world!”

Using HeyWire, Facebook users worldwide can use a real phone number to send and receive unlimited texts with friends and family. Naturally, texting conversations follow users from the HeyWire Facebook app to their smartphones and/or tablets and vice versa.

For just 20 Facebook Credits a month, Facebook users get one U.S. phone number with unlimited texting from within Facebook to any mobile phone in the USA, Canada, Mexico and China, and to most mobile phones in the Caribbean and Central and South America. Moreover, if a friend on the other end of the line is also a HeyWire user, you get to text for free, no matter where he or she lives.
