Click the "Start" button, then click inside the "Search" box.
Type "update" into the box, then press the "Enter" key.
Click on the "Windows Update" icon in the menu.
Click the "Check for updates" button on the left-hand side of the screen.
Click the "Install Updates" button on the lower right-hand side of the menu. Wait for the installation to complete. When finished, a box asking you to restart your computer will appear.
Click the "Restart" button to restart your computer and make the upgrade take effect.
