The LG Star, the phone tipped to be the first high-end Android smartphone from LG, has landed in Korea and been dubbed the LG Optimus 2X.
It's likely LG will continue to use the Optimus brand name (as used on the Optimus 7, Optimus One and Optimus GT450) but we're unsure if the UK will ever see a phone named the Optimus 2X.
In case you've forgotten, the handset is one of the first to use an Nvidia Tegra 2 processor, bringing a dual-core experience to smartphones for the first time.

Sliding up the charts
The result has been pretty positive early previews of the device, which may be rocking Android 2.3/Gingerbread when it launches.
We're not sure about a UK release date, and even less convinced about UK pricing (although we reckon it will be pretty high for a dual core, 4-inch high resolution device).
