Install the engine analyzer onto your hard drive. This is done by putting the CD that the analyzer comes on into the drive and simply following the instructions that will appear on your screen. These instructions will vary slightly depending on what type of computer you have. After the analyzer is installed you will be asked to register it to a name. Type your own name into the appropriate space to register your engine analyzer to yourself.
Open the engine analyzer on your computer. This is done either by clicking the "Engine Analyzer" icon on your desktop or by going into your computer's menu of programs and selecting the engine analyzer. This will bring you to the engine analyzer's main menu.
Click the "Calculate Performance" button in the main menu. After the analyzer has made its calculations, you will be able click the slide bars on each section to view the results of the calculations.
Change specifications in different menus to run different types of calculations once you become more comfortable with the use of your engine analyzer.
