Open Windows Media Player and insert an album that you want to transfer music from into your computer's CD drive.
Click the "Rip Settings" button inside of Windows Media Player.
Highlight "Format" in the "Rip Settings" menu and select the audio format with which you would like to rip the CD (such as WMA, MP3 or WAV).
Click the "Rip CD" button and the music from your album will be transferred to your PC.
Repeat this process for each additional album from which you would like to transfer music.
