How to Stop Pop-Ups Requesting a Phone Number

Open an Internet Explorer browser window.

Click the "Tools" button near the top-right corner of the window, or the "Tools" item in the top menu bar.

Select the "Pop-up Blocker" item and then click the "Turn On Pop-up Blocker" option.

Open a Firefox browser window.

Click the "Tools" item in the top menu bar and select "Options."

Select the "Content" tab located near the top of the resulting dialog box.

Check the box labeled "Block pop-up windows."

Click "OK" to confirm the change.

Open a Google Chrome browser window.

Click the wrench icon located at the top-right corner of the window and select "Options."

Select the "Under the Hood" tab and then click the "Content settings" button.

Select the "Pop-ups" tab on the left side of the resulting dialog box and then check the "Do not allow any site to show pop-ups" option.

Click "Close" on each of the next two screens to confirm the change.
