web stats service from statcounter

Go to the social-networking website which you would like to update your profile on.

Choose "Account" or "Settings" on the website.

Go to the "Privacy" or "Edit Profile" page and update your profile information. Remove any information you don't want people to see. You will also be able to remove specific content bars or types of content shown by using these options and features. Click "Save" to update your profile's changes once you have edited the parts of your page to reflect what you would like to be viewed publicly.

Log into the social network or website that you would like to edit and change the visible content on. Closing your account will permanently remove your profile and content-bar information from the website you are editing.

Select "Settings" "Account" or "Help" from the website's main menu to find the links to help close your account. Websites vary in the location of their account-closing sections, so you may have to browse in different locations on the site before finding the proper page. Once you find the account-closing section, click to finish closing out your official account.

Follow the website's onscreen instructions for canceling and unregistering your user name and password. If possible, select all of the information you would like removed and deleted from the website. By default, all of your information (including content bars from your profile) will be deleted and removed completely from the website's database upon deleting and removing your account.

Select "Close Account" or "Cancel Account" (if you're a paying subscriber of the website). Follow the website's questions to close and completely remove your account.
