Log into your Facebook account with your user name and password.
Click on "Account" and then "Privacy Settings" on the top right corner of the screen.
Click on "Customize Settings" below the listing of the current settings on the screen.
Click on the tab next to "Posts by Me," which if set to the default will say "Everyone."
Select "Customize" from the drop-down menu that opens, then "Only Me" from the drop-down menu under "Make This Visible To." Click "Save Settings."
Click on the tab next to "Can See Wall Posts by Friends," which if set to the default will say "Everyone," and select "Customize" from the drop-down menu that opens. Click "Only Me" from the drop-down menu under "Make This Visible To." Click "Save Settings."
Log out of Facebook or navigate back to your profile page.
