Turn off your computer and HP monitor.
Wipe the screen with a soft, dry cloth, such as an old t-shirt or microfiber cloth, to remove dust.
Dampen the cloth with isopropyl alcohol. Wipe the screen in a gentle circular motion to remove any dirt and fingerprints. Wipe down the rest of the monitor after wiping the screen.
