Press the "Windows" key. Type "regedit" in the "Search" field and press "Enter." Select "Continue" if the User Account Control prompt displays. This will open the Registry Editor.
Navigate to the following registry path on the left side of the windows pane. For example, click "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE," "Software" and so on.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall
Right-click the "Uninstall" folder and then click "Export." Save the file as "Uninstall" on the desktop. This will create a backup of the file in case you need it later.
Find the software program that you wish to remove under the "Uninstall" folder. Right-click the program and select "Delete." Exit the Registry Editor.
Press the "Windows" key plus "F." Type the name of the file in the "Search" dialog box and press "Enter." Right-click the program's folder and all relating files one at a time. Click "Delete" and exit the folder.
Open the Recycle Bin on the desktop. Select "Empty the Recycle Bin."
Press the "Windows" key. Type "Programs and Features" in the "Search" box and press "Enter." Make sure that the program is not among the list of installed programs.
