Log in to PayPal.

Select the "Merchant Services" option at the top of the window.

Scroll down until you find the "Create Buttons" heading.

Select the "Donate" link under the "Create Buttons" heading.

Fill in your organization name and a "Donation ID." A Donation ID is optional, but will make tracking donations easier.

Select the currency type for your donations.

Select whether donors can choose their own donation or must donate a fixed amount.

Select whether donations will use your merchant ID or your primary email address.

Select the "Create Button" option.

Copy the HTML code, which PayPal creates for you.

Open your blog.

Select the "Layout" option in your dashboard.

Select the "Add a Gadget" option.

Select the "HTML/JavaScript" option.

Paste the HTML code that you copied from PayPal.

Log in to your blog.

Select the "Dashboard" option.

Open the "Presentation" tab and select "Widgets."

Paste the HTML code you copied from PayPal into the "Text 1" area.

Select "Save Changes."
