Click "Start," right-click "Computer" and select "Properties." Under "Windows Edition," you will see the version of Windows installed in the computer. Listed under "System" are the processor type and speed, amount of RAM installed and the "Windows Experience base score." Under "Computer name, domain and workgroup settings," you will see the computer name, workgroup and domain information. For an alternative option, proceed to the next step.

Click "Run" and type "dxdiag" in the search box. Wait for the "Direct X Diagnostic Tool" window to appear on your screen. Under the "System" tab, you will see the computer name, operating system, system manufacturer, model, processor information and amount of RAM installed.

Click "Device Manager" located in the left side of the window. From there, you will be able to access all hardware devices installed in the computer.

Click "Start," "Computer" and then right-click your C drive. Select "Properties," then under the "General" tab, check the amount of hard disk space you have. If your hard disk is partitioned into several drives, check the amount of hard disk space allocated in each drive. Add them up to know the capacity of the entire hard disk.
