How to Convert LP Tracks for a CD

Place your LP on the IonAudio LP 2 CD.

Press “Menu” and then “Yes” to switch to “Flash Player” if you aren’t in that mode already.

Flip the “Phono/Line” switch to “Phono,” then press the “Record” button.

Move the record needle to the LP track you want to record or the start of the record if you want to record it all. Then press “Play” to begin playing the record. Press “Stop” once the track or record has finished.

Press “Burn CD” and insert a blank disc into the CD drive. Burning will automatically begin and then eject the disc once burning is complete. You now have a CD of your LP tracks.

Download Acoustica Spin It Again, double-click the download to begin setup. Double-click the icon on the desktop to launch the program.

Connect your Hi-Fi or record player to your computer, then click “Record a Vinyl LP.”

Click “Record,” then press “Play” on your record player. Click “Stop” on your computer and your record player once your LP or track has finished.

Click “Next,” then “Burn Audio CD.” Insert a blank disc into your drive. Click “Next” to begin burning; the disc will eject once recording has finished. You have converted your LP tracks to CD.

Download Golden Records (see Resources), then double-click the installer to begin setup. Double-click the desktop icon to launch the program.

Connect your Hi-Fi or record player to your computer.

Click “Wizard,” select your recording source and click “Next.” Play a record to test the volume, and adjust volume sliders if it is incorrect.

Click “Next,” then move your record needle close to the end of a track. Click “Measure Noise Floor” and then play your record until the song changes to the next one. Click “Next” twice more.

Insert a blank CD and select “Burn as Audio CD” from the “Output” drop-down menu. Move the needle on your player back to the beginning. Click “Next,” then play your record. Golden Records will record your files to CD once recording is complete.
