Earthrise is a computer game developed by Masthead Studios and planned for a Q4 2010 release. This is a Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game (MMORPG) set on the future post-apocalyptic Earth. This game is still in production as of November 2010, but you need to know what the computer system requirements for it are to make sure your PC fits the necessary specifications once it's out.Central Processing UnitThe Central Processing Unit of your computer, or CPU, is the processor that handles all data operations. Its speed is measured in GHz (gigahertz) or MHz (megahertz.) The faster your processor is, the more operations it can handle at a faster pace. Earthrise requires a CPU with a speed of at least 2 GHz.MemoryComputer memory, or RAM (Random Access Memory) is the primary storage on your computer. All your work is saved into RAM before you save it permanently to the hard drive. The larger the size of RAM, the more programs you can open and run at the same time without affecting the performance. Memory is measured in GB (gigabytes) or MB (megabytes). Earthrise requires a computer with at least 2048 MB of RAM.Video CardEarthrise requires a video card, or adapter, to properly display the game graphics. The video card memory, or VRAM, determines how well and fast graphic games will play. Its also measured in GB (gigabytes) or MB (megabytes). Earthrise requires a card with at least 256 MB of memory and a supporting shader model v3.0. References Play-Earthrise: Frequently Asked Questions Masthead Studios: Earthrise
