Dell says developing Windows smartphones 'easier' than Android

Michael Dell expressed at an event in Hong Kong, that it’s easier to develop smartphones using Microsoft’s Windows operating system than Google’s Android. Along that, he also mentioned said that Dell would be launching a “significant number” of tablet PC models next year. Now this somehow contradicts with the news of Dell launching their 7-inch “Looking Glass” tablet in a few weeks’ time. Looks like Dell prefers to develop on a platform that’s been there for many years instead of a platform initially developed for smartphones. Let’s wait until Gingerbread comes, and we shall see how that will change his opinion.
