OnePlus notes that the update is being rolled out to a small percentage of users right now, and a broader roll out will begin in a few days.
OnePlus has finally started rolling out the stable Android Oreo update for the company’s current flagship smartphone, the Oneplus 5t. The update was being beta tested for some time. In its official forum, the company notes that OxygenOS 5.0.2 is the first official Android O update, and is currently only rolling out to a small percentage of users right now. A broader roll out will begin in a few days.
Besides the update to the latest version of Android, the update also brings a new design for Quick Settings, CPU security patch CVE-2017-13218, as well as general bug fixes. It also updates certain applications such as the Launcher, Gallery, Weather, and File Manager.
“For those who were on previous versions for OnePlus 5T, we appreciate your active feedback and attempts to reach out to us. With your help, we have been able to better optimize and improve several key areas,” said OnePlus’ Adam Krisko.
