Asus ZenFone 5 Lite with Quad cameras leaked in Midnight Black, M...

Asus is readying to launch the new ZenFone 5 family of smartphones on February 27 at the Mobile World Congress 2018. While the Asus is expected to launch a number of smartphones following its usual launch strategy, one of them will be called the ZenFone 5 Lite. The ZenFone 5 Lite has now leaked for a second time and images of three colour variants of the smartphone have been posted on Twitter by known leakster Evan Blass. The leaked image of the Asus ZenFone 5 Lite shows the smartphone in Midnight Black, Moonlight White, and Rouge Red colour variants. Earlier, Blass had leaked press renders of the device, confirming that it will house four cameras overall - two at the back and two at the front.

The ZenFone 5 Lite is expected to launch alongside the ZenFone 5 flagship and certain other smartphone models. Previous leaks of the smartphone have also revealed that it will feature dual 20MP front-facing cameras for selfies and two 16MP rear cameras. Further, the ZenFone 5 Lite is expected to feature a 6-inch FHD+ display with an 18:9 aspect ratio.

Of course, as the name suggests, the ZenFone 5 Lite is expected to be less powerful compared to the ZenFone 5 flagship smartphone. There are no details about which chipset the device will sport. The ZenFone 5 is expected to house a smaller 5.7-inch display with an 18:9 aspect ratio, dual rear cameras, Android Oreo out of the box, a microUSB port and the rare 3.5mm headphone jack.
