Since the smartphone is already out in its home country China, we are familiar with the specifications. However, the availability and price details of the device are still a secret.
Honor 9 Lite launch live stream
Honor is holding the launch event of its Honor 9 Lite smartphone at New Delhi, India. However, if you are not in person to attend it, you can live stream it from YouTube. Huawei subsidiary will be live streaming the entire event from its Honor India channel. It is also possible to stay up to date with the updates from the company's Twitter handle. The launch event begins from 12.30PM IST.
Honor 9 Lite expected price and availability details
From what has been teased by the company so far, the Honor 9 Lite will be sold exclusively from Flipkart. Although there is no word on its price, based on the specifications we assume the device may fall under Rs 30,000 price tag.

The Honor 9 Lite runs company's own EMUI 8.0 UI based on Android 8.0 Oreo. It has a 5.65-inch full HD + display (1080x2160 resolution) with 18:9 aspect ratio. Powered by Huawei's octa-core Kirin 659 processor, the smartphone could come in two variants based on 3GB RAM or 4GB RAM.
There are 16MP + 2MP camera modules on the rear end. The 16MP primary camera comes with /2.0 aperture and LED flash, while the 2MP secondary camera offers PDAF. Along with this, the front of the smartphone houses 13MP and 2MP sensors. It is backed by 3000mAh battery and supports microSD card slot for storage expansion.
