Flipkart joins hands with Vodafone to offer 4G smartphones starting at Rs 999 [ad_1]

Flipkart's Republic Day sale may be over but the e-commerce market place has still an interesting offer exclusively for Vodafone customers.

Under the MyFirst4GSmartphone offer, Flipkart is offering select range of entry level 4G Smartphone models where Vodafone is giving cashback to both existing and new pre-paid customers. The offer is valid from January 24 to March 31.

This offer is valid on smartphones of brands such as Micromax,
iVoomi
, Yu Mobiles, Xolo, Intex, Swipe and Alcatel.



Vodafone is giving a total cashback of Rs 2,000 which is divided in two time periods of 18 months. The customers will receive a cashback of Rs 900 at the end of the first 18 months and after another 18 months a cashback of Rs 1,100. For this, they will have to do a recharge of at least Rs 150 per month for 36 months. Just like other Vodafone offers, this will also be in the form of Vodafone M-Pesa and will be credited to customers' wallets.



Speaking about the offer, Avneesh Khosla, Associate Director - Consumer Business, Vodafone India said, "We are delighted to partner with Flipkart and extend this offer to our existing and new pre-paid customers. This is an initiative to make 4G smartphones available at a never before price points and thus, democratize access to Vodafone SuperNet 4G. We hope that this will help fulfill the aspirations of several million phone users across the country who desire a smart phone but couldn't afford one. It will also encourage current non-users of 4G to upgrade and enjoy a richer user experience with Vodafone SuperNet 4G."



Vodafone has been offering cashbacks on a lot of entry-level smartphones since last year. This year, the telecom operator also tied up with South Korean tech giant Samsung to offer a similar cashback on its three budget smartphones -- Galaxy J2 Pro, Galaxy J7 Nxt and Galaxy J7 Max, giving a cashback of Rs 1,500 on all three devices bringing their effective prices to 6,990, Rs 8,990 and Rs 15,400 respectively.
