WhatsApp not working for you? You are not alone. The Facebook-owned messaging service appears to be facing outage. It is, however, not clear which all regions are affected by the downtime.

WhatsApp not working for you? You are not alone. The Facebook-owned messaging service appears to be facing an outage. It is, however, not clear which all regions are affected by the downtime.



The downtectector.com website that tracks websites that are facing downtime too is showing WhatsApp as facing technical issues. According to the website, the outage appears in to be focused on western Europe and Asia. However, several users on Facebook and Twitter from countries including US and some African nations too have claimed that the messaging service is not working for them.



WhatsApp users are not able to both send as well as receive messages. The service continued to say 'connecting' as users tried to send or receive messages.



India is WhatsApp's biggest market with about 200 million of its billion-plus users.
