NEW DELHI: HMD has already announced that it is holding an event on October 31. The company, however, has not revealed the details of the device it will be launching. But based on increasing number of leaks, Nokia 2 is being said to see the light of the day.
The event is scheduled to be held in New Delhi, India, and will start at 12PM. The company will also livestream the event on Facebook. Nokia Mobile Facebook page has created an event where it has mentioned the date and time details. The description of the event says, "The next big milestone for Nokia smartphones is here. Don't forget to tune in and watch what is in store for you."

Nokia 2 could come with basic specifications, making it one of the cheapest 'Nokia' handsets in the market. Until now, the cheapest smartphone by the Finnish firm is the Nokia 3. It is priced at around Rs 8,800 on Amazon India.
This means that Nokia 2 could come at a lower price tag, which we assume will be around Rs 6,000. All the Nokia smartphones in the lineup, which includes Nokia 3, 5, 6 and 8 are available from Amazon so the Nokia 2 could also be made available from the same e-commerce platform. The company could also make the device available offline.
Nokia 2 has apparently showed up on AnTuTu a day ahead of its launch. The smartphone comes with codename Nokia TA-1035. It is seen running Android 7.1.1 Nougat out-of-the-box and powered by an entry-level Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 processor. The processor is clubbed with Adreno 304 and 1GB RAM.
The Nokia 2 is also seen sporting a HD (720x1280 pixels) display. Also, there is a 5MP camera at the front and an 8MP camera at the back. It will also feature 8GB inbuilt storage.
