NEW DELHI: Taiwanese tech giant Acer has expanded its product portfolio with the launch of Predator Triton 700 gaming laptop in India. Announced at its 'next@acer' global event in New York in April this year, the laptop comes with a price tag of Rs 2,99,999, the device can be purchased via all the authorised Acer retail stores in the country.
The Predator Triton 700 has a 15.6-inch full HD display of 1920x1080 pixel resolution and comes with an aluminum chassis. The laptop sports a Corning Gorilla Glass layer above the keyboard, which is claimed to serve as a window into the notebook's cooling system, showcasing the AeroBlade 3D Fan and five heat pipes. It also functions as a touchpad.
The Triton 700 is powered by a seventh-gen Intel Core processor with latest Nvidia GeForce series-10 graphics. There's 32GB of DDR4 memory and the notebook PC incorporates Acer's TrueHarmony technology that's claimed to offer an immersive audio experience.
The laptop also includes all standard connectivity options such as USB 3.0 (2), USB 2.0, HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort and Gigabit Ethernet. The RGB-backlit keys are individually programmable.
Earlier this month, Acer launched its Nitro 5 Spin 2-in-1 convertible laptop in India at Rs 79,990. It comes with a 15.6-inch full HD display with 1920x1080 pixel resolution. The device is powered by 8th Gen Intel Core i5-8250U / i7-8550U processor with GeForce GTX 1050 GPU. Running Windows 10 operating system, the laptop offers 8GB of RAM and 1TB SSD storage.
Measuring 381.50 x 258.10 x 17.90 mm, the device comes equipped with a fingerprint sensor built into the trackpad. The convertible can be used in four different modes namely- Tent, laptop, display (theatre) and tablet.
The 2-in-1 comes with an all-aluminum chassis with red accents. It also features Acer's Colour Intelligence technology which adjusts the colour saturation in real-time by optimising the brightness and screen colour.
